On behalf of HSM Offshore, Omexom in the Netherlands was commissioned to install GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) equipment and 66kV and 220kV transformers in two large high-voltage offshore substations.

Umeå's growth, located in the north-east of Sweden, results in strong demands on a sustainable and reliable power grid. To address this need, the grid owner, Umea Energi Elnat AB, meets this with the project "Spänningshöjning", a comprehensive upgrade of the power network in the region during the period 2015 to 2024.

Omexom in Indonesia has commissioned the first 150kV high-voltage system in the Northern Maluku Islands on behalf of the Indonesian national electricity company. After 24 months of work, the teams have just completed the commissioning of the first 150kV system in Ternate.

Omexom in the Netherlands has been awarded a five year contract, from Stern Energy, for the maintenance of the high-voltage installation of the solar power plants. This will ensure that the solar plants can produce optimal and continuous energy efficiently and deliver this to the grid at any time. The high-voltage installation is an important part of this process. Omexom will ensure that the installation remains in perfect condition.

For greater penetration of renewable energies into the Australian energy mix, Omexom has installed and commissioned the first synchronous condenser in Australia, associated with a solar power plant on the Kiamal site.

Omexom completed for Total Solar International, in collaboration with the company Saft, a turnkey contract with a 25MW/25MWh storage system: the most powerful electrical energy storage system in metropolitan France.  

Omexom teams in the UK are completing work in Westerstede (Germany) for Omexom in Germany on the 380 kV overhead transmission line from Emden to Conneforde.

Three business units from Omexom in Germany have been awarded a joint contract to develop a new 170,000 sq. m residential area with 30 housing units in Duisburg. The project includes preparatory work, installation of the district heating system, electrical works, connection to local substations and to the grid, a new gas pipe, installation of LED lighting system.

Through the Omexom brand, VINCI Energies acquires EWE Offshore Service & Solutions GmbH, a company specialised in project development and in the operation and maintenance of offshore installations.
